I recently installed the Overworld Plugin on my 4090 machine. The setup instruction was easy to follow, and I got it running in about 30 mins (25 mins was just waiting for the model to download & build).

It's magical to pick any image and immediately jump into that world, exploring it with keyboard and mouse control. Feels a bit like World Labs Marble, but without the waiting.  The model is still under-baked, so I know it's going to improve in the next few weeks.

I find the model performs best with video game scenes. For example, the GTA screenshots performed the best. But personally, I was most interested in the other use cases like jumping into Jerry's apartment or exploring the Night Cafe by Van Gogh. Maybe this is because the experience of walking around isn't quite as fun as playing the game itself, but jumping into a familiar environment from a different context felt novel and fun. Of course, these things aren't mutually exclusive. I'm looking forward to play GTA-6 in the Van Gogh Night Cafe!
