Hey everyone!

As some of you know, we've been running regular workshops to keep you in the loop on what we're building and hear directly from you. Today's session is another good one.

Recording

Here's a preliminary, unedited recording of today's session.

VACE in Scope

Scope has been expanding - and one of the bigger recent additions is our modified VACE integration (Video All-in-One Creation and Editing). It's still experimental, so we wanted to be transparent about where things stand.

What's working now:

  • Reference-to-video (R2V) - use a reference image to guide generation
  • Video-to-video editing (V2V) - use control videos (depth, pose, scribble, optical flow) to shape output
  • Animate Anything - combine R2V + V2V to define character/style with a reference image, while a control video provides structure

Currently supported on Wan2.1 1.3B pipelines: longlive, reward-forcing, memflow

What's not there yet (but we're considering it or working on it):

  • Multiple reference images
  • Real-time preprocessing of source videos into control videos
  • Masked video-to-video (inpainting, outpainting, video extension)
  • More complex tasks like Swap Anything, Move Anything, Expand Anything
  • Wan2.1 14B support

This is where you come in. We want your feedback to help us prioritize what to build next. Today's workshop is a perfect chance to see it in action, ask questions, and shape the roadmap.

Try Scope and VACE yourself

The best way to learn is to try it yourself. Scope is open source - I encourage you to clone the repo, experiment, and if you find it useful. We also have a desktop app for Windows to help you get started.

Also, giving us a ⭐ on GitHub means a lot:  https://github.com/daydreamlive/scope

And for more details and some cool videos, check out our VACE docs:  https://github.com/daydreamlive/scope/blob/main/docs/vace.md

See you today!
